The main environmental problem in my region, Tumbes, is river pollution caused by mining activity and the lack of treatment of solid waste that is discharged directly into its waters. Other problems are deforestation in the forest area managed by the Cerros de Amotape National Park as a result of increasing agriculture. The sea suffers from overfishing and the mangroves have decreased in size due to shrimp farming, Ecoliterature, and within it ecopoetry, is an activity that we are developing with good emphasis in educational institutions.
